Christmas Noel Collar

My first year of participating in the Scheepjes Christmas Blog Hop. This means that every day, for 12 days, a member of the Scheepjes Bloggers makes a Christmas inspired pattern. You can get this pattern for free. Yesterday was the turn of Kirsten She made an asesome Christmas crosstitch mug cozy and tomorrow it's Maria's turn.

Ella Scarf

It's a fine striped scarf, as you can expect from me. This yarn is such a joy to work with. It is soft and colors combine beautifully. The pattern of the scarf is pretty easy, but it is advisable to make a sample of a different yarn. The mohair is in fact not so easy to rip.

For this scarf you need / Je bent voor deze shawl nodig

4 skeins / bolletjes Mohair Rhythm and 4 skeins / bolletjes of Alpaca Rhythm;

Foxtrot
Hip Hop
Robotic
Quickstep

I let this know ahead, so you can choose the colors you like for this scarf. Because next week the pattern will be here and you can start right away. Maybe a Christmas gift for someone?

Sneak Peek

Here is the promised Sneak Peek

Hier is de beloofde Sneak Peek

But first my yarn choices. What do you think. I picked a soft pink, a plum, a dark and a light grey and they come in great names;
Foxtrot
Quickstep
Hip Hop
Robotic
And of course, I opted for Alpaca and Mohair, and I'm going to crochet with them single thread.

Maar eerst mijn garen keuzes. Wat denk jij. Ik koos een zacht roze, een pruim kleurige, een donkere en een licht grijze en ze komen in die geweldige namen;
Foxtrot
Quickstep
Hip hop
Robotic

And the sneak peek? Here it is and in a few days the reveal. Do you recognize it? Can you guess what it's going to be?

See you in a few days again and what is your favorite dance?

Lotte shawl

And here she is. I am very happy with the result. The colors remind me of the beach and sea.

This is what she looks like when you crochet her in a solid color. Also beautiful, isn't she?

And here again the colors from which to choose.

Will you come along next week for the pattern? You can then copy or download the pattern for free.

Triangle or rectangle. What's it going to be?

Surprise, it's another shawl but not a triangle or rectangle. It will be a combination of the 2. How I'm going to do this? I'm going to show that next week, when the shawl is ready. Love for you to return next week for the reveal.

Knitted Zahra shawl

 A while ago I published the pattern of the Zahra shawl. You can find the pattern here Zhara

This shawl is crocheted, but I can imagine that your not able to crochet or you don't like doing it (What I really can't imagine, but ...)

 For it may be that you are a true knitter at heart. What should you do if you really like this pattern? I came up with the solution. I just made a knitting variation. And this is how it looks;

Want het kan zijn dat je in hart en nieren een echte breister bent. Wat moet je dan als je het patroon ook mooi vindt? Daar heb ik nu de oplossing voor. Ik heb het patroon nu ook in een brei variatie gemaakt. En dat is deze geworden;

For this shawl I also used the beautiful yarn from Scheepjes;
2 skein Invicta Colour 951
1 skein Invicta Extra 1347
1 skein Invicta Extra 1340
But you can also choose your own combinaties.

Voor deze shawl heb ik ook weer het mooie garen van Scheepjes gebruikt;
2 bollen Invicta Colour 951

I hope I made all the knitters happy and that you'll come back next week, because then the pattern will be available here.
